Join Mornings with Neno — a global movement empowering entrepreneurs, dreamers, and believers to master their mindset, elevate their energy, and live with purpose.
From the streets of Washington Heights to global stages in over 25 countries, my journey has been fueled by two things: faith and discipline.

Growth is not linear—it’s a journey filled with highs and lows, victories and setbacks. In this motivational training, Nano outlines a framework that explains the process of personal and professional evolution in six distinct phases. This model applies to everything: business, health, relationships, finances, and spiritual life.
This is the phase that stops most people before they even begin.
Rejection is what you experience when you first step out of your comfort zone. Whether it’s deciding to wake up earlier, start a gym routine, read your Bible, or build a business—your mind and body will resist. Nano refers to this as the mental, psychological, and emotional resistance that pulls you back into familiar habits.
According to studies cited during the session, 23% of people quit their New Year’s resolutions in the first week, and 43% by the end of January. By March, 70% have already quit. This drop-off is a product of the Rejection Phase.
Nano emphasizes: “Rejection is redirection.” You must push through discomfort to reach transformation.
If you survive the rejection, you enter the progress phase.
This is where your efforts begin to yield small, consistent improvements. You start waking up earlier more easily, going to the gym consistently, making some money in your business, or saving money regularly.
In this phase, discipline and routine matter. Nano explains that real progress comes from sticking with your plan even on days when motivation is gone.
This is the phase most people dream of—but few reach.
Here, the consistent efforts of the progress phase finally manifest in tangible outcomes. Whether it’s improved fitness, financial success, business wins, or stronger relationships—this is the fruit of all your labor.
Nano explains that most people never make it here because they give up too early. Those who stay consistent begin to enjoy the satisfaction of seeing their life transform.
Once you’ve achieved results, it’s time to lead others.
Leadership is about teaching. Nano stresses that real leaders are those who have results and then use those results to mentor others. Parents, teachers, coaches—anyone who guides others—is operating in this phase.
He quotes the learning circle: Learn → Apply → Get Results → Teach (LART). Leadership is the natural evolution of mastery.
Sustained leadership builds expertise.
This phase is about becoming known as the go-to person in your domain. Whether it’s fitness, public speaking, digital business, or trading, an expert is someone who has consistently produced results for themselves and others.
Nano references the 10,000-hour rule—it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert. At 3 hours a day, that’s a 10-year journey.
Few ever reach this final phase. It takes decades.
Legend status is reserved for icons: Tom Brady, Kobe Bryant, Tony Robbins, Bob Proctor. These individuals didn’t just become experts—they sustained excellence for 15+ years. They’re remembered not just for what they did, but how consistently they did it.
Nano mentions that while people sometimes call him a legend, he knows he’s still in his leadership phase. The legend phase is a long-term vision, not a title you give yourself.
Nano urges listeners to identify where they are in each area of their life. You could be in the progress phase with your health but in rejection with your spiritual journey. Understanding this helps you know what to expect next and how to stay the course.
He gives his own examples:
Rejection: Writing his book
Progress: Gym and waking early
Results: His sold-out retreat
Leadership: Mornings with Nano
Expert: Not yet—but he’s working on it
Through all phases, discipline is the tool that keeps you moving. Nano defines discipline as:
“The ability to do what you said you were going to do long after the motivation fades.”
Whether you’re just starting or leading others, discipline is what ensures you continue growing.
The journey of growth is cyclical and ever-evolving. You’ll be in different phases for different parts of your life. What matters most is understanding where you are and committing to move forward—day by day—with discipline and faith.
As Nano closed his session, he reminded everyone: “I’m not in a rush. I’m here to trust the process, not rush the process.” That mindset is the secret to lasting success.
